Meet Eric Halter
Life-long Tech Therapist
For more than 35 years, I've joked that I had the "tech support contract" with my family and friends. I've always been the one who got the phone call when something went awry with a computer, a smart phone or cable TV. That includes everyone from my siblings to my in-laws and my parents.
It was not only because I worked in Information Technology. I've always had the ability to speak to someone about tech, not at someone. I believe technology can make our lives better, but alas it's not as easy as using the computers we see in some sci-fi show. We all could use some "tech therapy" to take the stress out of making our gadgets work for us.
That's why now that I've retired from my full-time gig as a technologist and project manager, I want to work with you to make sure you're enjoying using technology - not swearing at it. This especially goes for older folks who want to remain independent: technology can help them keep in touch and stay involved. Kids of those seniors, feel free to call me as well so I help you help your parents. :)

My approach is simple: I'm not a salesman or a geek who talks only in "techno-bable". I simply want to help you ask the right questions about how technology can make your life better and through clear conversation leave you with the knowledge needed to use and enjoy your gadgets on your own without all that swearing.
